Purpose and legal basis of the processing

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data (including the IP address) to deliver the page and to keep it running securely and without faults. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working and secure website).

Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger processes the data as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR. According to Hostinger’s data processing agreement, its subprocessors include Cloudflare, AWS EMEA and Google Cloud EMEA; transfers to countries outside the EEA rest on the EU standard contractual clauses.

Retention period

Contact by e-mail or phone

If you write us an e-mail or call us, we process the details you give us, for example your name, your e-mail address or phone number and your request, in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a purchase from us, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering requests). We delete the details once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention duties require us to keep them longer.

Contact by WhatsApp

Where this website refers to WhatsApp, that is only a link: WhatsApp is not embedded in the website, and nothing is sent to WhatsApp when you open our pages. Only when you open the link do you switch to WhatsApp, a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, and WhatsApp’s terms of service and privacy policy apply. Data, for example your phone number and details of when and with whom you write, may then also be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. Which data WhatsApp processes and on what basis it transfers them is set out in WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

Contacting us by WhatsApp is voluntary. You can reach us by e-mail or phone just as well. A message you send us through WhatsApp is processed like an e-mail, in order to answer your request.

Your rights

Under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. Links to other services, for example WhatsApp, Google Maps, Apple Maps or OpenStreetMap, load nothing from those services until you open them.
